The Fort Bragg Main Post Parade Field will be the site for this year’s July 4th celebration. The day’s activities, which will begin at 3 p.m., with the opening of vendor stands and Kiddie Land, will include free concerts, food, carnival rides and more.

The celebration is free and open to the public. The Fort Bragg community also extends a special invitation to members of our region’s communities whose firework displays have been cancelled this year.

Entertainment for the July 4th celebration will feature Jamie Tate performing with the 82nd All-American Chorus beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by Colt Ford at 5 p.m., and Chevelle in concert at 6:30 p.m.
Additionally, the celebration will include a Golden Knights freefall parachute demonstration, the 82nd Airborne Division All American Band, featuring the 1812 Overture; a flag ceremony; and a fireworks display.

Prohibited items on the Main Post Parade Field include glass bottles, knives or weapons of any type, fireworks and pets. Tents and shelters are allowed in designated areas only.
Parking at the Womack Army Medical Center will be for all patrons. Handicap parking is reserved next to the Main Post Chapel located north of the Main Post Parade Field on Sedgwick Street. Primary parking for the public will include any open parking areas east of Knox Street that are not posted as closed. The Main Post Polo Field located east of the Main Post Parade Field will also be restricted. The field must remain clear of all pedestrians and vehicular traffic to ensure safety during the fireworks demonstration.

All traffic exiting the event after 9 p.m. is required to follow the directions of the traffic control points in order to have a safe return home. All traffic exiting the hospital from the southeast is required to travel south on Reilly Road. All traffic exiting the hospital from the north is required to travel west on Longstreet Road. All traffic exiting from the vicinity of the Main Post Parade Field is required to travel north Reilly Road or south on Knox Street.
