Street closure

“Retreat” rescheduled: Starting on Monday, the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg Garrison commands have decided to move “Retreat” back to the original time of 5 p.m. daily. Because of this change, “First Call” will be called at 4:45 p.m. and “Assembly” at 4:55 p.m. Army regulations require Soldiers who are outdoors to stop, face the colors and salute while “Retreat” is being played. If a Soldier is driving a vehicle on a street with a speed limit of 25 MPH or less, the driver should stop the vehicle and the senior person in the vehicle will get out, face in the direction of the colors and salute while “Retreat” is being played.  If the speed is above 25 MPH, the driver can continue driving.
