Lt. Gen. Frank Helmick, commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, visited several installation dining facilities Thursday, to wish Soldiers and their Families a happy Thanksgiving.
“Thanksgiving is a time to pause and reflect on the many blessings in our lives, our Families, our friends, our health and the freedoms we
enjoy in this great nation here at Fort Bragg,” said Helmick in his Thanksgiving message.
Helmick encouraged those he spoke with to keep deployed Soldiers in their thoughts.
“These Soldiers and their Families are making a tremendous sacrifice and we truly appreciate their commitment and service to our nation. Our prayers are with them always,” he said.
