• Feb. 12 - Challenges of reunion and integration - this presentation reviews the positive aspects and the difficulties of reunion and reintegration - both for the single as well as the married servicemember. This presentation explores the effect that reintegration has on children and discusses tips on how to make reintegration successful for the whole Family.
• Feb. 26 - Coping with job uncertainty - this presentation will teach participants ways to deal with potential organizational restructuring and job loss; how to handle the emotional challenges that can accompany these uncertainties and how to manage change.
Street closure: Be advised that Barnhill Contracting will start roadway paving on Hamilton Street from Macomb to Randolph street. This section of Hamilton Street will be closed through Friday. Traffic will be detoured to Knox Street. Also, Scott Street will be closed where it intersects with Hamilton Street.
To apply, the student must be a dependent of a service member on active duty, Reservist, Guardsman, retiree or survivor of a military member who died in the line of duty or survivor of a retiree, unmarried, under 21 years, or 23 if enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university. Applicants, as well as their sponsor, must be enrolled in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System database and have a current military ID card. The applicant must also be planning to attend or already attending an accredited college or university full time in the fall of 2013 or be enrolled in a program of studies designed to transfer directly into a four-year program.
