Recycling drive held
Accepted items include plastics labeled #1 through #7 with the exception of styrofoam (#6), aluminum cans, cardboard, shredded office paper, newspapers and magazines, ink cartridges, waste cooking oil and glass. Bragg about Recycling will also accept personal electronics such as televisions, computers and monitors, computer peripherals, keyboards, printers, scanners, cables, telephones, cellular phones, video games and game systems, CDs, DVDs and small kitchen appliances except for refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers and other white goods.
To recycle a personal computer, first remove and destroy the hard drive. Government issued electronics should be handed over to Defense Logistics Agency disposition services.

Recyclables are also accepted at the Fort Bragg Recycling Center, Building 3-1240 on the corner of Butner and Reilly roads, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
