Members of the Fort Bragg community, along with military members from other North Carolina installations, made the trip to Raleigh on Sunday for some cold ice and hard hits. The Carolina Hurricanes, professional hockey team of the National Hockey League, sponsored military appreciation night for military members in attendance.

Before the game, attendees enjoyed static displays from various units around Fort Bragg.

The All-American Chorus kicked the night off with their rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.

The Hurricanes lost the game 3-1 and ended a five game homestead with a 1-3-1 record.
