There’s a way to keep cool this summer. Come out to the Twin Lions Outdoor Pool (on the corner of Normandy and Ardennes streets), Friday, from 5 to 11 p.m., to celebrate the opening of all the outdoor pools on Fort Bragg this season. There will be a band, food and Family activities.

The 16th Annual Fort Bragg Army 10-miler will begin at 6:30 a.m.

The event will take place at the Polo Field, located on the corner of Knox and Randolph streets.
Boys and girls will compete separately in age categories ranging from five to 12 years old.
Hosted by senior RKC, Mark Toomey, the training will provide instruction on how to use the kettlebell as a strength and conditioning tool.
The training is sponsored by the Soldier Performance Enhancement Program.
