TRICARE Service Center closes in April
As TRICARE beneficiaries increasingly access electronic, Internet and toll-free customer service features, the need for walk-in locations has lessened. Therefore, walk-in customer service at TRICARE Service Centers in the 50 United States will end April 1.
Due to the unique needs of overseas beneficiaries, TSCs outside the United States will continue to offer walk-in service. Visit www.tricare.mil/tsc for TSC change information and to sign up for email updates.
Open house scheduled:
The Military Information Support Operations Command will host a recruitment open house March 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Sports USA, Building 3-2102 Longstreet Road. Walk-ins are welcome. MISO operators and the Special Operations Recruiting Battalion will present a series of briefs to inform potential recruits of all requirements necessary for reclassification into the branch. Anyone interested in occupation reclassification to further their career should attend.
Casualty assistance training:
Class number 10-14: Tuesday to Thursday. To attend this training, personnel must be officer (captain or above), warrant officer (chief warrant officer 2 or above) or enlisted (sergeant first class or above). Personnel are slotted on a first-come, first-serve basis. All major commands must provide an attendance roster to Donell Bowser (Casualty Assistance Center) seven working days prior to class start date. All Soldiers will report to Building 4-2843 (Soldier Support Center), Normandy Drive, Room B-A-1 (McArthur Lake Classroom). In-processing will start at 8:30 a.m. Soldiers must be present through entire training and pass two written tests to received CNO/CAO certification.
