Fort Bragg Combatives Tournament:

The XVIII Airborne Corps and the 82nd Airborne Division have teamed up to host the 2013 Fort Bragg Army Combatives Championship Invitational, set for Thursday to Saturday. As many as 500 Soldiers from units around the Army are expected to participate.† Several exhibition matches are scheduled to take place on Saturday.† For more information, contact the 82nd Abn. Div. Army-Navy Game:

The annual grid-iron rivalry between the Army and Navy will take place Saturday.† Come cheer on the Black Knights at Sports USA.† Kick off is at 3 p.m., with free food during half-time.† Giveaways throughout the day.† Call 907-0739 for more details.

Intramural Indoor Soccer:

Intramural Indoor Soccer Program will begin Jan. 24, 2014. Games will be played Friday evenings, Saturdays, and possibly Sunday afternoons at Ritz-Epps PFC through March 8, 2014.

Fort Bragg 5K walk/run:
Join us for the monthly Fort Bragg Family 5K on Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m., at Hedrick Stadium. All ages are welcome to participate in this free, fun, non-competitive run/walk.

Eighth Annual Ryanís Reindeer Run:

The Eighth Annual Ryanís Reindeer 5K Run will be held Dec. 21, 8:30 a.m., in downtown Fayetteville.† This 5K run/walk is in memory of Ryan P. Kishbaugh who died of Hodgkins lymphoma at the age of 18. Proceeds from the run go to the Ryan P. Kishbaugh Memorial Foundation and other local charities providing services to children and cancer patients. †

The run will start and finish at the Medical Arts Building parking lot entrance on Hay Street.†

The Medical Arts Building is located at 101 Robeson St., in Fayetteville.

Registration fee is $30 for individuals, $20 for participants under 13, and $90 for Family (4 people). Though T-shirts are usually provided, they have sold out every year and sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed. So, donít wait to the day of the race to register if you want a shirt. Registration will be allowed up to, and including, race day.† Registration will be available on day of race beginning at 7 a.m.† Race schedule:† Packet pick up and registration from 5 to 8 p.m., Dec. 20, at Breezewood Healthcare, 200 Forsythe St., Fayetteville.

Additional race information:† Children in strollers no charge. Pets on leash allowed but must be controlled at all times including waste clean up by owner. Non-competitive runners with pets and strollers and walkers will be asked to start in the back.
