Open house: Womack Army Medical Centerís Department of Medicine will be hosting an Open House, May 31, from 3 to 6 p.m., on the second floor of the Clinic Mall located at the All American Entrance to the hospital.

The event will highlight new and existing services including cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, pulmonary, allergy, dermatology, neurology and sleep. Everyone is invited to attend a short presentation at 3 p.m. There will be tours of the department throughout the event and light refreshments will be served.

Veteran counseling offered: The Vet Center offers active-duty service members and veterans counseling services. These services are free and strictly confidential. The Fayetteville Vet Center is located at 2301 Robeson St., Suite 103, Fayetteville.

The center is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Counseling services are designed to assist eligible active duty service members and veterans in making a successful transition on and off the battlefield to civilian life. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, marital and Family counseling, military sexual trauma counseling, and referrals as needed.
