After an $8.5 million renovation, the South Post Commissary is ready to show off their new layout, awesome savings, and show appreciation to loyal customers.

The commissary will be hosting their 13th anniversary and mini grand reopening Friday through Sunday, featuring a sidewalk sale where prices are going to be significantly reduced for ID card holders who shop on the weekend.

As part of their celebration, they will also be giving away shopping sprees to the commissary in a variety of corn-hole games and other competitions.

Popcorn, snowballs and cotton candy will be given away as well as hot dogs and sodas on Saturday and Sunday to add to the carnival environment. There will be seafood road show, a meat stimulus sale, and a farmers market.

“It’s really about reacquainting the community with the commissary and coming together to support each other,” explained John Moore, store director. “Not to mention, phenomenal savings. Usually a typical customer can save about 30 percent on products, but this weekend they can save almost 50 percent on some products.”

Visit the South Post Commissary, near the Reilly Road gate,Friday through Sunday, to participate and shop while supplies last.
