Special operations recruiting briefing
Fort Bragg special operations recruiters provide weekly recruiting briefings on career opportunities available to privates first class through sergeants first class in all military occupational specialties and YG11 officers (DOR 2012/04/01-2013/03/31).
Special Forces briefings are every Wednesday, noon and 2 p.m., Building D-3022 on the corner of Ardennes and Merrill streets. ARSOF briefings are conducted at Building 2-1120, east end basement on Macomb Street.
Other briefings are
160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Mondays, 11 a.m.; explosive ordnance disposal, Mondays, 1 p.m.; psychological operations, Tuesdays, noon; warrant officer, Wednesdays, noon; civil affairs, Thursdays, 1 p.m.

The Fort Bragg Employee Assistance Program is available to support the work/life health and welfare needs of Department of Defense civilian employees, their Family members, and the entire Fort Bragg/Pope Field community. Basic EAP services are available on a voluntary basis with no out-of-pocket expense. These services are designed to help address any life issue(s) threatening well-being, such as stress, grief, Family difficulties, financial challenges and substance abuse. In partnership with the Military and Family Life Consultant Team, the EAP offers monthly work/life health training seminars.

Oct. 22 — Avoiding and putting a stop to gossip. This presentation addresses gossip: what it means, the negative effect gossip has on a community and ways to avoid and prevent gossip.

Due to building renovations and parking lot resurfacing, the AAFES Airborne Troop Store in the 82nd Airborne Division area on Ardennes Street is closed on the east side of the complex though early December. Patrons can access the store from the west side of the building and via Tullidge Way. Motorists are advised to expect traffic inconvenience in the construction zone.
