Target center:

Fort Bragg Clay Target Center will offer the last two of  its 2013 Trifecta events, Aug. 17 and Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Costs is $40 for identification cardholders and guests, and $45 for the general public.

The fee includes a round of skeet, a round of trap, a round of wobble trap and a steak meal.

An award trophy will be given for the high overall shooter.

Registration closes each day prior to the event.

Shotgun rental and ammunition sale will be available at the clubhouse. Ear and eye protection will be mandatory.

Softball tournament:

Men’s softball tournament will take place Aug.  22 to 26, at various Fort Bragg fields.

The program is open exclusively to active-duty personnel at no cost.

Each battalion is authorized to enter a team into this double elimination tournament.

Team rosters (roster form available at the website) must be submitted to the Sports Office, Building 4-1567, Reilly Street, by Aug. 15.

The tournament organizational meeting is scheduled for Aug. 19, at 6:30 p.m., at the Pope Field Softball Complex.

Fort Bragg Sports Office is looking for volunteer group fitness instructors to conduct classes such as spinning, step aerobics and TRX (total resistance training).

Fort Bragg offers Dollar Days Mondays at Dragon Lanes and Tuesdays at Airborne Lanes.

Games, shoes, hot dogs, nachos, draft beer and sodas are offered for $1 each.

Golf tournament:

A “Get out and Grow with Golf” Junior Golf Tournament will be held, Aug. 24 at Stryker Golf Course (Building K-1219 Bragg Blvd.

The free tournament will begin at 2 p.m. and is open to youth ages 6 to 18 with varying skillsets.

Space is limited to about 80 spots, with the last date of registration being Aug. 21.

The tournament is in need to volunteers as well.
