Fathers enjoyed a night out with their daughters during the Father –Daughter Ball, June 21, at the Fort Bragg Club.
During the event, attendees were treated to a fun-filled night that included dinner, arts and crafts, dancing and door prizes.
For the fathers in attendance, nothing compared to spending a night out with daddy’s little girl.
“I will probably remember this day for the rest of my life,” said Staff Sgt. Leron Corbin. “This is the first time I’ve ever experienced an event like this with her. And even though she’s ditching me at the moment, she’s enjoying herself and I’m proud to see her grow up.”
Sgt. 1st Class Willie Scott, who attended with his three daughters, said that while this was his first Father-Daughter Ball, it won’t be his last.
“This is an absolutely wonderful event that brings fathers and daughters together,” said Scott. “For every year that I’m at Fort Bragg, I will attend this event.”
