Multi-platinum-selling American country duo Big & Rich will perform live at the Main Post Parade Field on Fort Bragg Saturday.
This free concert is open to the public and will also feature country music performers Cowboy Troy and Bradley Gaskin. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. with food vendors opening at 6 p.m.
With this year’s release of their fourth album “Hillbilly Jedi,” their lead single, “That’s Why I Pray,” became their fastest riser since “Lost In This Moment,” which climbed to the top of the charts in 2007.
“Big” Kenny Alphin and John Rich are not only musicians. They are songwriters, producers and entertainers.
As a solo artist, Kenny has written top 10 hits for himself as well as Tim McGraw, “Last Dollar”, Gretchen Wilson,“Here For The Party”, Jason Aldean, “Hicktown”, “Amarillo Sky”, and been named BMI’s (Broadcast Music Incorporated) Songwriter of the Year.
Rich is a three-time American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Songwriter/Artist of the Year with 13 top ten hits, including Faith Hill’s “Mississippi Girl,” Faith and Tim McGraw’s “Like We Never Loved At All,” Jason Aldean’s “Hicktown” and Taylor Swift’s “The Way I Loved You.”
Together, the duo has 15 songs on the Billboard Country Songs charts to include “Lost In This Moment,” “Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy,” “Holy Water,” and recent lead single, “That’s Why I Pray”.
No tickets are required for the event. No dogs or glass bottles will be allowed on the Parade Field.
