Roadwork to start:
Utility work in the training areas will bring Longstreet Road, at the intersection of Mac Ridge and Lamont roads, to one lane Jan. 13 to 17, to allow crews to install utility lines, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day. Units using Longstreet Road to access the training areas should plan for delays or use other routes during the construction period.
Casualty assistance training:
Class number 06-13: Jan. 21 to 23
Class number 07-13: Feb. 4 to 6
To attend this training personnel must be officer (captain or above), warrant officer (chief warrant 2 or above) or enlisted (sergeant first class or above).
Personnel are slotted on a first-come, first-serve basis. All major commands must provide an attendance roster to Donell Bowser (Casualty Assistance Center) seven working days prior to class start date.
All Soldiers will report to Building 4-2843 (Soldier Support Center), Normandy Drive, Room B-A-1 (McArthur Lake Classroom).
In-processing will start at 8:30 a.m. Soldiers must be present through entire training and pass two written tests to received CNO/CAO certification.
