Changes in education/base/formal training customer service hours
The education and base/formal training’s customer service hours are now 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.

Leadership has determined that the change will best assist customers and increase productivity in addressing high-priority tasks. Education Center staff appreciates your patience and understanding for this necessary change.

For all testing (PME, WAPS, DLPT5, etc), testing schedules remain the same, and often start before 9 a.m. and usually extend beyond 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The change in customer service hours only pertains to the test examiner’s non-testing hours of operation. Test schedule will always be based on the confirmed appointment time.

Also, the 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., customer service hours does not apply to Campbell University’s National Test Center which deals with the administration of CLEP/DANTES and college proctored exams.

Any questions can be address to Alva Anthony, Force Development/Education Services flight chief at 394-1142.

Clean equipment before turning in

Effective immediately, the Fort Bragg Central Issue Facility will no longer take organizational clothing and individual equipment that hasn’t been cleaned according to the installation’s Master Policy No. 93. This policy outlines the correct procedure for cleaning OCIE prior to turn-in to the CIF.

In accordance with Army Regulation 710-2, paragraph 2 through 14, individuals are responsible for the proper care of OCIE. Items must be properly cleaned before they are placed back into the inventory for re-issue.

The first noncommissioned officer in the Soldier’s chain of command will validate equipment cleanliness prior to turn-in to CIF. The Soldier’s company commander or delegated representative will validate the officers in their command. Any discrepancies between Soldiers, officers and CIF personnel will be resolved by the unit’s first sergeant.

For more information about OCIE cleaning procedures, call Norvelle Patterson at 907-1868.
