Over 49,000 visitors attended the Fort Bragg Fourth of July celebration at the Main Post Parade Field, Tuesday.
Circled by food, beer, and ice cream vendors, patriotically clad visitors braved the heat to watch a variety performances. Children lined up with their parents to jump in the bounce houses at Kiddieland.
The 82nd Division Rock Band, Riser Burn, opened up the stage and energized the crowd with a selection of favorite classic rock covers.
The Golden Knights surfed the sky followed by trails of smoke, and the flag ceremony, a Fort Bragg tradition, was accompanied by successive shots from a line of M119 Howitzers.
When the JC Allstars took the stage to “Rock the Troops,” they had the crowd on their feet. The musical entertainment culminated with a country music performance by North Carolina raised Chase Rice.
Fort Bragg completed the Fourth of July celebration with a display of over 800 fireworks that lit the sky for miles.
