Q: At one time you could access Cumberland County's employee salaries for free. Why do we have to go through Caspio and pay for it now? — M.B., Fayetteville

A: The database of Cumberland County employee salaries was taken down from The Fayetteville Observer’s website because it was out of date.

A new database with up-to-date information will be posted once the paper has received that information from county officials. The request has been made.

Q: Who was the girl in "Road House?" Whatever happened to her? — S.D., Buies Creek

A: That would be Kelly Lynch, the 5-foot-9 actress who starred alongside the 5-foot-11 Patrick Swayze in the 1989 movie.

She later turned down the role of Catherine Tramell, which went to Sharon Stone, in 1992's "Basic Instinct."

The 58-year-old's latest film credit was in Kepler's Dream in 2015.
