Provost Marshal Messaging:
The Office of the Provost Marshal would like to take this opportunity to remind the community to practice good physical security of their property, both private and government. We highly encourage everyone to remain vigilant in and around the Fort Bragg community by securing your personal and military property behind locked doors. Additionally, we recommend that you do not store your TA-50 and high valued items inside of your vehicles due to promoting criminal targeting. The vast number of these recently reported larcenies involve property that were left unsecured and unattended in vehicles. These thefts were strictly crimes of opportunity. Please make yourselves and your property a harder target.
Driver Improvement Training (DIT) Initiative:
In accordance with the Garrison Commander’s directive, dated Sept. 1, 2016, all drivers cited for the following will be enrolled in DIT:
Speed in excess of 15 miles per hour

For the month of August, 39 Soldiers were cited for DIT related violations. Currently, 433 DIT-cited drivers have their on-post driving privileges suspended for one year or longer. Remember to remain vigilant and obey the posted speed limits and traffic control devices on Fort Bragg.
