New appointment system: The Fort Bragg Education Center has set up an appointment system to service all education counseling needs.
Once an appointment is confirmed, the patron will receive an email and a reminder email 24 hours prior to the appointment. The confirmation email will have a link to either cancel or reschedule an appointment if necessary.
Walk-in services will continue to be available to enroll in the Basic Skills Education Program and this system will not be used for testing appointments.

Volunteers needed: The Red Cross is searching for volunteers to work in Womack Army Medical Center to assist with greeting patients, managing phone calls and emails, drive a shuttle for patients and to serve in clinical positions.

Lifeguard classes: Fort Bragg Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Aquatics is offering the 2017 American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course.
Participants must be at least 15 years of age on or before the initial scheduled session of this course.
Attendance to all classes is required for successful completion of the course. Pre-qualification test will occur at 8 a.m. on the first day of each course. Registration ends two weeks before start date of course.

Class #2: Saturday, Oct. 14, 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 15, 22 from noon to 5 p.m. Class #3: Nov. 4, 11, 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 5, 12, 19 from noon to 5 p.m. Class #4: Dec. 2, 9, 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Dec. 3, 10, 17 from noon to 5 p.m. Class #5: Dec. 18 to 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $50 non-refundable for the pre-qualification class and $150 for the lifeguard class.
