Halloween safety! Due to previous trends associated with Halloween, a few horror movies that are currently in theaters, and the scheduled release of a few upcoming horror movies, we highly encourage everyone to dress appropriately this Halloween season to avoid being perceived by mistake as a threat to the community. Recent examples include personnel dressing in clown and suicide bomber costumes with real and/or perceived weapons. When selecting costumes, please take into consideration the turbulent times we live in, and the impact your decisions have on our community and our first responders.
