Was it Col. Mustard in the kitchen with the candlestick?
For the first time since 2008, Iron Mike Conference Center has organized a murder mystery theatre dinner.
The dinner will take place Feb. 16 and will feature a total of 12 characters: detectives, murder suspects, crime inspectors. There will be four professional actors, and the other eight will be selected from the audience.
“We wanted something different and nobody else was doing that type of event on Fort Bragg,” said Olga Hester, Food and Beverage Director, Iron Mike Conference Center.
The event is set during the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball
and guests will be asked to help get the soiree back on track by trading clues guests, gathering information, and solving the crime before the masked menace gets away.
The event calls for dress attire; evening wear, ball gowns, Venetian/masquerade masks, suits, and tuxes are suggested for what the Iron Mike Conference Center is describing as a night of masks and murder.
“The murder mystery dinner show is an interactive entertainment for the night, you do not only watch the show, you will be part of the show and everyone will be involved. You don't know if the person next to you is the killer,” explained Hester.
The evening will open at 6 p.m. with hor d’oeuvres and the opening of a cash bar, followed by a buffet style dinner to accompany the theatrics at 6:30 p.m and costs $40. For reservations and additional information call Iron Mike Conference Center at 907-2582.
