The Army Historical Foundation is calling for women Soldiers, or loved ones and friends on their behalf, to submit their stories of service to The Army Historical Foundation’s Registry of the American Soldier. The Registry is a searchable online record of photos and Soldier’s stories that will appear in the future National Museum of the United States Army, currently under construction at Fort Belvoir, Va. The Foundation is encouraging women to enter their stories to ensure the Registry reflects the diversity of the 30 million Americans who have served in the U.S. Army.
There is no cost to submit a story. To submit an entry for the Registry, visit armyhistory.org and click “Registries.”
New BTEC appointment system: The Bragg Training and Education Center has set up an appointment system to service all education counseling needs. The new convenient appointment system allows patrons to have a scheduled appointment time to meet with an education counselor.
Once an appointment is confirmed, the patron will receive an email and a reminder email 24 hours prior to the appointment. The confirmation email will have a link to either cancel or reschedule an appointment if necessary.
Walk-in services will continue to be available to enroll in the Basic Skills Education Program and this system will not be used for testing appointments.
Appointments are scheduled for a 30-minute time frame and may be scheduled at https://bookfbtec.timetap.com. Contact BTEC for more information at 396-6721, 908-0927 or usarmy.bragg.imcom-atlantic.mbx.bragg-education-center@mail.mil.
