On Wednesday, July 4 Caliber Collision will be giving away two cars on Fort Bragg, a white 2012 Chevy Impala LS and a blue 2011 Mazda 6 Touring. To win a car, contestants must write a 500-word essay on the topic of why they (or someone they know) deserve(s) a car.

Contestants must be Fort Bragg-based E-5 and below Service members. Entries must have the Service member’s name and rank, their contact information and unit of assignment. They cannot be facing any UCMJ actions. Additionally, the entrants must possess a valid U.S. drivers’ license and must be present on July 4 to receive the car.

The deadline for these essays is June 15. The first 100 entries that meet the above criteria will be accepted and reviewed, then the review panel will select the top ten essays. Each Soldier’s UCMJ status will be verified with their chain of command. From this group, the review panel will choose the top five entries.

The top five will be notified by Caliber Collision to be present during the July 4 festival where they will announce the winners. The first and second place winners will receive a car. The 3rd, 4th and 5th place winners will receive other prizes. Entries will be sent to fortbraggpublicaffairs@gmail.com and must be in before June 15.
