Soldiers from across the 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command (3rd ESC) competed in various sports and physical competitions over a 4-day period while vying for the Commander’s Cup July 10-13. The Commander’s Cup included basketball, softball, volleyball, flag football, golf, a 10K ruck march and a physical fitness test. The event fostered friendly competition while also promoting command camaraderie. However, the Soldiers were playing for the bragging rights that come with the unit’s Commander’s Cup. The week ended with a barbecue in which the 3rd ESC Command team of Brig. Gen. Christopher O. Mohan and Command Sgt. Maj. Bernard P. Smalls presented the Commander’s Cup to the winning battalion. The Soldiers assigned to the 330th Transportation Battalion claimed the cup this year.
