Job fairs
Veterans, active duty, Reserve and Guard personnel, along with military spouses, are invited to attend a free employment, entrepreneurship and educational opportunity event. Servicemembers who are transitioning out of the military are also invited to attend.

RecruitMilitary will host the event scheduled for April 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The expo will be held at the Carter-Finley Stadium, Vaughn Towers in Raleigh.

CivilianJobs.com is hosting a career expo for transitioning military, servicemembers, veterans, National Guard/Reserve and their Family members are invited to the expo April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Fort Bragg Officers’ Club.

Unlike other job fairs, CivilianJobs.com events offer candidates and employers a profile pre-matching process that ensures a company’s representatives will meet the attendees whose backgrounds offer the best fit for their positions. Those positions include local, regional, national and overseas opportunities in administration, aviation, healthcare, law enforcement, logistics, maintenance, management, driving, engineering, plus much more.

Although each employer has different hiring practices, some employers will directly hire from the floor. Candidates who attend are encouraged to pre-register on the CivilianJobs.com Web site and upload their resume no later than one week prior to the event so they can participate in the matching process. Their job skills and geographic preferences are matched against the needs of the attending employers and those employers receive the job seekers resume in advance of the job fair for review and to schedule interview times. When the job seeker signs in at the event, he or she will receive a list of employer matches to ensure they visit the booths of those employers who are the best fit for their skills.

To pre-register for this event, candidates should visit www.civilianjobs.com or call (678) 819-4170 for assistance.
