Spring registration
Child, Youth and School Services has opened registration for baseball, softball, soccer, track and lacrosse.

Though the age ranges may vary by sport, registration may be completed online at https://webtrac.mwr.arm.mil.

A physical, proof-of-age, legal proof of Social Security number and documentation of any special needs must be provided in order to complete registration. The child must also be registered with CYSS before signing up for youth sports.

Other than online, parents or guardians who wish to register a child or multiple children may visit the CYSS registration office, located on the fourth floor of the Soldier Support Center, Building 4-2843, Normandy Drive, Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lifeguards needed

Fort Bragg Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation is hiring lifeguards for the summer season. Applicants must have a current Red Cross lifeguard/CPR certification. Apply at http://armycivilianservice.usajobs.gov. For more information, call 643-8533.

Train like a pro

The Soldier Performance Enhancement Program is offering free advanced training sessions at Frederick Physical Fitness Center from noon to 1 p.m. Classes offered are:

• Olympic lifting — Wednesday, March 14 and April 11

• TRX — March 7 and April 4

• Kettlebells — Feb. 15, March 21 and April 18.

PT facilitator course

The Soldier Performance Enhancement Program is offering free physical fitness facilitator courses at Frederick Physical Fitness Center from 9 a.m. until noon. The “Train the Trainer” course is designed to educate training facilitators in specific technique, usage, basic anatomy, exercise physiology and program design in human performance. The classes are limited to 20 Soldiers per class on the following days:

Feb. 14 through 16

March 13 through 15

April 10 through 12

April 24 through 26

May 8 through 10

May 22 through 24

June 5 through 7

June 19 through 21
