Thomasville, West split CCC meet
Thomasville's boys and West Davidson's girls were the winners in four-team Central Carolina Conference meet on Thursday.
The Thomasville boys finished with 86 points, followed by West (81), South Rowan (67) and Lexington (10).
The West girls finished with 57 points, followed by South Rowan (52.5), Thomasville (49.5) and Lexington (39).
Winning for the Thomasville boys were the 4x100 relay (Javin Cunningham, Saderia Gilyard, Derrick McGriff, Adones Vanderhall), the 4x400 relay (Trent Little, McGriff, Agustin Villagomez, Shyheam Wafford-Rich), Vanderhall (100 meters, long jump), Wafford-Rich (400 meters), Zaion Kearns (discus, shot put) and Villagomez (triple jump).
Winning for the Thomasville girls were Colleen Harrison (200 meters), Kaige Loggins (long jump),
Winning for the West boys were Adam Willis (800 meters, 1600 meters), Brandon Lewis (110 meter hurdles, high jump) and Matthew Tarleton (300 meter hurdles).
Winning for the West girls was Mary Nebrich (high jump).
Winning for the Lexington girls were Taylor Bennett (100 meters), Alyssa Thompson Rowe (400 meters, 100 meter hurdles) and the 4x200 relay.
