Registration is currently underway for the 3rd Annual All American Marathon and Mike to Mike Half Marathon and the 5K, which is scheduled for April 3, 2016.

The 2016 marathon is set to start at Festival Park, in downtown Fayetteville. As runners depart the four-acre concert and entertainment complex, they will follow a course up Ray Avenue to Hay Street, which features some of Fayetteville’s historic buildings and exhibits. Once they past Fayetteville’s famed Market House, the route will lead them past Veteran’s Park and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum, which serves as home to the historic Iron Mike statue. The marathon route continues up Morganton Road, through the city’s historic Haymount district, travelling rolling hills until reaching the All-American Freeway.

After traveling along the All American Freeway for about four miles, full marathon runners will continue through Fort Bragg along Gruber Road. From Gruber Road, the course will lead runners past the home of the 82nd Airborne Division and Pope Field.

The race will finish on a course that provides scenic views of Forces Command headquarters and past Fort Bragg’s Iron Mike statue, before ending at the Main Post Parade Field.
