Fall sports

Current Child, Youth and School Services cardholders can now register for fall sports at https://webtrac.mwr.army.mil until July 30, or league capacities are reached.

Those sports include the following:

Tackle football, ages 9 to 18, for main post and Linden Oaks, cost $65.
† Football cheerleading, ages 6 to 18, main post and Linden Oaks, cost $40.
† Flag football, ages 6 to 8, main post and Linden Oaks, cost $40.
† Volleyball, ages 9 to 18, main post and Linden Oaks, cost $40.
† Soccer, ages 4 to 18, main post and Linden Oaks, cost $40.
† Tennis, ages 8 to 18, main post only, cost $40.

Registration requirements include a sports specific physical at the time of registration; proof of age; legal proof of Social Security number; documentation of special needs such as asthma, allergies, etc.

Discounts and waivers are available for coaches, assistant coaches, multiple children and individuals qualifying for the Army Family Covenant.

Register at the CYSS registration office, Soldier Support Center (Building 4-2843, 4th floor), Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.† Parent Central Services opens at 10 a.m., every third Wednesday of the every month.

Volunteer coaches for fall youth sports are needed as well.

The Fort Bragg 5K Walk/Run will take place, June 29, at 8 a.m., at Hedrick Stadium.

It is open to all military/government ID card holders and their Family members, with no registration required.

Prizes will be given away, and wellness and healthy living vendors will be on site.

Aquatics prices

Until Sept. 2, aquatics prices will vary by rank, active-duty or civilian status. They will be as follows:

Active-duty and Department of Defense civilian ID cardholders, ages 4 and up will cost $3 per person
† DoD guests (when accompanied by an ID cardholder) will cost $5 per person
† Summer season pass for a single Soldier, ranked private to sergeant will cost $35; staff sergeant and above will cost $50; and DoD ID cardholders will cost $60
† Family summer season passes will cost $70 for private to sergeant; $100 for staff sergeant and above; and $120 for DoD ID cardholders
† Cost of a monthly pass is $15 for single Soldiers and $30 for Families
† Smith Lake civilians/guests will pay $7 per person
† Masterís Swim Team monthly cost is $40
† Youth Swim Team is $120 to $285 with $125 annual registration for a three-month pass
† Swim lessons per session (eight classes) will be $50 per person
† Water aerobics will cost $25 per person monthly†

Prices are valid for all Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation pools and for Smith Lake.

Passes can be purchased with cash at all pools and at Smith Lake.

Pass purchases by credit card must be made at Leisure Travel Services.
