Fort Bragg will hold its 16th Annual Army Birthday 10-Miler, June 8, beginning at 6:30 a.m.

This event is open to the general public, with the following stipulations:

Entries will be accepted through June 7, at 5 p.m.

There will be no race day registration.

To enter, Friday, Monday and June 7, complete the $20 entry in person, at Funk Physical Fitness Center, located at Building C-2015 on Gruber Road near Longstreet Road.

Entries will be accepted at Funk PFC from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on these dates. On Wednesday only, the hours of operation will be extended until 7 p.m., but only cash and checks will be accepted during registration at Funk PFC.

All streets, including those on the route, will be closed from 6 to 9 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to assist with water points, route security and finish area administration.

All volunteers will receive a commemorative Army birthday 10-miler T-shirt.
