Army Spouse of the Year coming to Fort Bragg: Corie Weathers, Army Spouse of the Year will visit Fort Bragg in November. The Fort Bragg Protestant Women of the Chapel worship team will host an inspirational evening and lead a worship service Nov. 13, at the All American Chapel, 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for a meet and greet with light refreshments.

Become an Army nurse: All interested Soldiers are invited to learn about pathways to become an Army nurse through the Army Enlisted Commissioning Program. Recruiters from the U.S. Army Medical Department will brief Tuesday, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Bragg Training and Education Center. Recruiters will explain the program, the requirements for admission and what Soldiers can do to prepare.

Family of the Year nominations: As part of Military Family Month in November, Army Community Service is accepting nominations for the Fort Bragg Family of the Year. Nomination forms must include information reflecting the activities of the Family, their cohesiveness as a Family and their contributions to the unit and community.

Sewing instruction: Maholic Child Development Center has sewing instruction Wednesdays, 3 to 4 p.m., ages 8 to 10, $50 for four, 60-minute sessions; and Wednesdays, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., ages 11 to 14 years, $60 for four, 60-minute sessions. Students are required to bring fabric scissors to class. They will work on projects to develop sewing techniques. Open to military Family members with CYSS membership.

Graduation ceremony: The Bragg Training and Education Center will host the 2014-2015 Fort Bragg Collegiate Graduation and Recognition Ceremony, Nov. 19, 1 p.m., at the Fort Bragg Conference and Catering Center. The ceremony is for military servicemembers, Department of Defense dependents, and civilians who have met, or will meet, their academic institutionís degree, diploma, or certificate requirements within the last year.
