Responding to Linden Oaks residents’ requests, Fort Bragg’s Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation is helping  parents register their dependants for Child, Youth and School Services programs Friday, at the Chay Youth Center, from 1 to 4 p.m.

“We wanted to offer this one-time opportunity to make it easier for parents in Linden Oaks to register their middle school/teens with CYSS in time for them to use the new facility during the school holidays,” said Karen Miller, coordinator of Fort Bragg’s CYSS.

“We offer our Soldiers and their Families a lot of great programs and hopefully this event at Chay Youth Center meets their needs.”

To register their dependents, parents need to bring their military identification card, their child’s birth certificate, a leave and earnings statement and/or pay stubs for both parents or a paid college schedule.

Additionally, parents need to bring two local emergency contacts other than the parents and a physical or health assessment of the child being registered.

Children with special needs must be cleared for each program before they can be enrolled.
