Every November, we come together as a nation to recognize the patriotic service of our veterans — past and present. It is a day to pause and reflect on what these individuals sacrificed and the accomplishments they achieved.

From the Continental Army to today’s troops across the globe, there are countless stories of heroism to pass down from generation to generation. We must never forget those who came before us.

Many veterans have taken what they learned while serving and transitioned into successful civilian careers. Most of them will tell you the discipline and work ethic instilled in service defending the nation is still present and driving them today.

America continues to be the greatest country in the world and we have generations of patriots to thank for dedicating their lives to guarantee our freedoms.

Please join me, the XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, and the nation in proudly honoring all men and women who have served the United States in uniform representing the highest ideals of service and patriotism.
