These services are designed to help with addressing any life issue(s) threatening well-being, such as but not limited to, stress, grief, Family difficulties, financial challenges and substance abuse. In partnership with the Military and Family Life Consultant Team, the EAP offers monthly work/life health training seminars.

Time and location for all training is 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Leader and Workforce Development Center, Building 2-2020, Woodruff Street. Contact the EAP office at 396-5784 to reserve a seat.

Tuesday — Conflict resolution — this presentation addresses understanding conflict, types of conflict in the workplace, conflict styles, ways we respond to conflict, conflict in the workplace, communication guidelines and how to resolve conflict.

April 23 — Combat-related stress reactions — this presentation teaches coping skills for the servicemember as well as how the Family members (and employers and co-workers) can take an active role in the healing process.

April 30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., — “Prime for Life” training workshops in support of Fort Bragg’s 2013 Alcohol Awareness Campaign which runs April 1 through 30. Prime for Life training workshop is specifically designed for Department of Defense civilians, military Family members, military retirees, and military retiree dependents. May 14 — Homecoming and reunion - this presentation addresses concerns and guides participants through a proactive approach to encourage a positive reintegration.

May 28 — The three C’s of communication - this presentation will elaborate on the three “C’s” of communication: to communicate, to collaborate and to commit. Participants will also learn about the different aspects of verbal and nonverbal communication.
