Fitness fees:  Effective July 2, the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation’s Sports and Fitness Department, in lieu of canceling the Fort Bragg Group Exercise program due to budgetary restraints, will start charging a nominal fee for all group exercise classes in an attempt to off-set the cost of this program.

Walk/run: Fort Bragg will hold its monthly 5K walk/run at Hedrick Stadium, Saturday, at 8 a.m. The walk/run is open to all military/government ID cardholders and their Families. Strollers and dogs are welcome. Prizes will be awarded. or call 396-1217.

Hercules PFC weight room closed: The Hercules Physical Fitness Center weight room will be closed today through June 29 due to the receipt of new equipment and the resetting of the weight room. to see a listing of the other fitness facilities that are available to ID cardholders.

July celebration: Christmas in July will be held July 7, from 8 to 11 p.m., at Normandy Outdoor Pool (next to the Fort Bragg Club). Cost is $3 per person, but free for pass holders. or call 643-8533.

Wife carrying: The Fort Bragg Wife Carrying Championship will be held July 4, at Main Post Parade Field, at 2 p.m.
