Artist coming to post: The renowned military artist, James Dietz, will be at Fort Bragg’s Conference and Catering Center, 2658 Reilly Road, across from the Mini-Mall, on Jan. 29, from noon to 4:30 p.m. to unveil his new painting “First In - Last Out.” This print commemorates the XVIII Airborne Corps’ deployments to Afghanistan and is a testimonial to the enduring commitment made by U.S. Soldiers to the people, communities, and the Afghan National Security Forces. Dietz will be available to personalize his prints.

On-post detour: Utility construction affecting D Street in the Patriot Point area, about 200 feet east of Chicken Road, will require motorists to detour onto old Ammo Point Road and back to D Street from 8 a.m., Monday, to 5 p.m., Feb. 4. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area during the period of construction.
