Unit Level Intramural Basketball Program: Dec. 1, through March 16, 2016. Games will be played Monday to Friday evenings, at various post fitness centers. This program is open exclusively to active-duty military personnel assigned/attached to Fort Bragg units. Entry deadline to be included on the first schedule of games is Nov. 23.

Morning karate instruction: Morning Karate classes take place every Tuesday, Thursday and 2nd and 4th Fridays at Tolson Youth Activities Center. Powerlifting competition: The competition will be Nov. 14, 10 a.m., Ritz Epps Physical Fitness Center. All participants will be required to weigh-in Nov. 13, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to all military and government ID cardholders age 18 and older. Fall shootout golf tournament: Fort Bragg’s Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation is hosting a fall golf tournament Saturday, at Ryder Golf Course. The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. and will include a shotgun start. The format is two-person, best ball with handicap. Cost is $25, and will include a barbecue and chicken dinner.
The field is limited to the first 45 teams with established handicaps. The tournament is open to active-duty servicemembers, retired military and Department of Defense employees and their Families and guests, who are at least 16 years old.

Fort Bragg 5K Walk/Run: Grab your running shoes and join us our monthly Fort Bragg 5K The next race is Saturday, 9 a.m., at Hedrick Stadium. This event is free to military and government ID card holders and their guests. No registration is required. Strollers and dogs are welcome.

19th Annual Fort Bragg 10 Miler: Nov. 5, at 6:30 a.m. Race will start on Longstreet Road by Sports USA. Registration fee is $25.
