Mobilization, Deployment and SSO hosts the Family Readiness Group (FRG) Super Saturday I on July 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be located at the Family Readiness Group Center, Bldg. 236 Interceptor Road, Pope Army Airfield.

This training encompasses two FRG trainings in one day:

Care Team Training is from 8 to 10 a.m.

Command Team Training is from 10 to 12 a.m.

Care Team Training provides immediate support after official notification. The Care Team fills the gap between the notification team and Family support arriving. This training is critical prior to establishing a Care Team.

Command Team Training, also known as The Readiness Essentials for Army Leaders (R.E.A.L.) Command Team training, is targeted toward company commanders and first sergeants, but is also informative for brigade and battalion commanders and command sergeants major.

This two-hour course delineates the roles and responsibilities of the command team regarding how to leverage the FRG to execute the Family Readiness mission.

Topics include: Family Readiness, Mission Essential Tasks for FRGs, FRG Elements and Operations, Communications, Volunteer Management, FRG Funding and Resources.

Registration for these events is required. To register for this class, call or submit your information online via the online registration form.
